George Zarkadakis, PhD
George has a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, and has extensive experience in software product development in healthcare, as well as in data and analytics. He has worked at the European Bioinformatics Institute in Cambridge UK where the produced the business case for Elixir, Europe’s next generation bioinformatics infrastructure.
James Peach
James was a Managing Director at Genomics England, one of the world’s largest and most successful population genomic sequencing programs. He developed and led the Cancer Research UK, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer’s Stratified Medicine Program. He has advised national and regional sequencing programs, including France Génomique and Genome Canada. He was a member of the UK Human Genomic Strategy Group and Illumina’s Global Population Sequencing Leadership Council.
Zoe Barker-Lomax
Zoe Barker-Lomax a qualified lawyer with over two decades of leadership in digital health. She combines legal expertise with innovation in patient engagement and product development. Previously CEO of Patient Connect, Zoe scaled it into a global digital health network reaching over a million healthcare professionals and 500 million patients. She served as VP of Global Product Development at Clarivate, driving growth and international partnerships. Educated in Law and Languages, she completed AI and healthcare programs at MIT and Harvard.
Josh Sutton
Josh has held senior management positions overseeing multiple aspects of technology, with a specialization in artificial intelligence, data strategy, digital transformation, and business transformation. Previously, he held senior roles at Publicis Sapient, including Global Head of Data and AI at Sapient Global Markets, where he led risk strategy initiatives. With an undergraduate education from MIT, Josh has a strong focus on leveraging AI for deep data problems in healthcare, medical research and genomics.
Sean Rice
Sean is a former President and Head of Investment Banking at CG Capital Markets, Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, and Managing Director of Capital Markets at Coventry Capital. His expertise spans a broad spectrum of markets and industries, with a broad focus on technology. Sean’s career includes leadership positions at Bank of America, BNP Paribas, and JP Morgan.
Kamil Mehmood
Kamil directs partnerships, and leads piloting and execution of large-scale population genomics programs throughout the world. He is a software engineer by training, yet also has extensive experience in guiding and managing successful execution of complex programs across several industries, with a key focus on genomics and medical research projects and partnerships. He is a co-founder of Syndesis, the largest repository of de-identified RWD (real world data) from the southern hemisphere.
Sir George Zambellas
Admiral Sir George Zambellas is the former First Sea Lord and Chief of the UK Royal Navy. He has extensive leadership experience in the military and technology sectors. During his three-year tenure as First Sea Lord, he successfully reset the Royal Navy’s global strategy and priorities, with a particular focus on advanced technology and artificial intelligence. An engineer by training, Sir George’s love of emerging technologies has led him to become a leading figure in AI, robotics, encryption and data security.
